P&O Cruises welcomes superliner, Pacific Jewel, the 70,310 tonne sister ship to Pacific Dawn, to our fleet. Pacific Jewel sails from a number of idyllic South Pacific and Australian destinations on cruises ranging from 7 to 21 nights.

On board you'll find a fantastic combination of spacious cabins, indulgent spa and fitness centre, dazzling aerial entertainment. Plus, there's all of the great value inclusions that come with every P&O Cruises' holiday including all main meals and a wide range of activities to keep you entertained, day and night.

Climate/Seasonal Variations (South Pacific):

The South Pacific is at its glorious best in the dry season from May to October. Expect clear, warm days with an average temperature of 23 degrees. For walking or trekking, narrow it down to the cold season, June to August, when water temperatures drop to 21 degrees and the air is cooler - not the best time to visit if you're hoping to laze around on a beach. Summer is the wet season and brings warmer weather but it can be unpleasantly steamy, with the heaviest rains in January.

P&O Cruises ships have a range of accommodation options from suites with balcony to outside and inside cabins. All are spacious and comfortably furnished, with all the amenities you'll need to relax and enjoy you cruise.

Or take a leisurely lunch in the buzzy atmosphere of our onboard restaurants. Then follow your nose to one of P&O Cruises' famous afternoon teas. But save room for our huge five-course dinners - they're a must. Still hungry? 24-hour pizza, late night snacks, ice cream, espresso... you name it, we've got it.

Life onboard includes a non-stop parade of music and entertainment for you to share. Meeting spots include everything from laid-back lounges to exciting nightclubs - where you can listen to live bands, dance or watch a fabulous show. Join in a poolside salsa (maracas provided), or try your luck in our glamorous casino. It's all here for you. Rather chill out? Then take in a movie, enjoy a quiet drink with friends, or admire a sunset over the railing. Or simply lie back and watch a video in the comfort of your cabin.
