First, you'll stop by Isle of Pines, famous for its 1.25km white sand beach before arriving at Mystery Island for some great snorkelling. The serene, bush covered island of Wala offers quality handicrafts. On day 8 you'll visit Luganville, which boasts abundant marine life and world-class dive sites. Your last port of call is Vila, the perfect place to do some bargain shopping.

Pacific Pearl cruises into Sydney and Auckland in late 2010 for an enticing season of tropical escapes to the South Pacific.

Climate/Seasonal Variations (South Pacific):
The South Pacific is at its glorious best in the dry season from May to October. Expect clear, warm days with an average temperature of 23°C (73°F). For walking or trekking, narrow it down to the cold season, June to August, when water temperatures drop to 21°C and the air is cooler - not the best time to visit if you're hoping to laze around on a beach. Summer is the wet season and brings warmer weather but it can be unpleasantly steamy, with the heaviest rains in January.
