Flying out to Hong Kong, the delights of the Far East await. Once known as the ‘Paris of the East’, Shanghai now calls itself the Pearl of the Orient. It is China’s largest and most cosmopolitan city and no other city can better capture the urgency and excitement of China's economic reform. Xingang, follows, your gateway to Beijing and the Great Wall of China.

Next you arrive in Japan. Nagasaki is richly cosmopolitan and the scenery quite enchanting. Etched in its memory is the 1945 atomic bomb that destroyed much of the city and you’ll find poignant reminders such as Peace Park and the A-Bomb Museum still remain today. Osaka follows, Japan’s third largest city known for its dynamic spirit, legendary nightlife, hi-tech stores and conveyor-belt sushi bars.

En route to Australia, Arcadia calls at Papua New Guinea and the intriguing town of Rabaul, which is housed inside a large collapsed, volcanic crater. Reaching the land down under, your first taste of Aussie life comes in the form of Cairns, gateway to the Great Barrier Reef. Brisbane follows, close to the exciting Surfers’ Paradise and Gold Coast resorts.
